BEA Flash presents a modern solution for opening bank and investment accounts, requiring only a mobile phone and approximately eight minutes of your time.

The application streamlines the traditional account opening process into three straightforward steps:

1. Verify your identity
2. Enter personal data
3. Select an all-in-one account type*

Users can conveniently upload a photograph and their Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card directly through the BEA Flash app. The information is securely encrypted during transmission to BEA for account approval and is not stored on the mobile device, mitigating the risk of data leakage.

Additionally, BEA introduces the Cross-boundary Wealth Management Connect (Southbound) Account Opening option, aimed at enhancing convenience for eligible residents in Mainland Greater Bay Area cities. After completing the application, customers must visit a designated branch within 30 days to present the original uploaded documents for account opening attestation, ensuring a prompt establishment of their account.
